Details
KV10 for straightforward disc locking
The KOVIX KV10 is a stainless steel disc lock with a 10mm pin. It is a practical choice if you want a mechanical lock without an electronic alarm or battery. Check your disc measurements before ordering.
KV10 stainless steel construction
The KV10 has a double locking mechanism and a brushed stainless steel body. The supplier describes the finish as resistant to rust and corrosion. Its curved body and engraved KOVIX name give it a simple metal finish.
Checking the KV10 fit
The disc opening must take the 10mm pin, with enough space for the body to close fully. Measure both before buying. Do not use the specifications of KNX10 to judge this lock: KV10 and KNX10 are different models.
Choosing between KV10, KNN1 and KNX15
The KNN1 has a 6mm pin and push-down closure. The KV10 offers a 10mm pin with a stainless steel body, while the KNX15 has a 14mm pin and a 120dB alarm. Start with the disc size, then decide which locking style and features suit you.
KV10 alarm and battery
The KV10 is a mechanical lock and does not need a battery. It has no electronic alarm. For an alarm-equipped option, see the separate KNX15 product page.
Everyday care for your KV10
Always remove the lock before moving the motorcycle. Keep the keyway clean and follow the supplied care instructions. A reminder cable is a useful separate accessory if you are worried about forgetting the lock.
