KNX15 with a built-in alarm

The KOVIX KNX15 pairs a stainless steel disc lock with a built-in 120dB alarm. It gives you a physical lock at the brake disc and an audible warning when the alarm is triggered. The 14mm pin needs a disc with enough room to take it.

KNX15 body and locking mechanism

The stainless steel body houses the alarm module, and the 14mm pin uses a double locking mechanism. A brushed finish and engraved KOVIX name give the metal body a clean look. KOVIX also lists corrosion resistance and a high-security cylinder for this model.

Choosing the KNX15 alarm mode

You can choose whether to arm the alarm. Follow the supplied instructions to set the mode you want. KOVIX specifies a lithium battery and weather-resistant electronics; battery life will depend on how the lock is used.

Will the KNX15 fit your disc?

Measure the disc hole and check the space around it for the lock body. Both need to suit the 14mm pin and the shape of the lock. A bike’s model name or engine capacity alone is not enough to confirm the fit.

KNX15 or a mechanical disc lock

Choose the KNX15 when an audible alarm is part of what you want from a lock. If you prefer a mechanical option without batteries, compare the KV10 or KNN1. Their pin sizes and locking styles differ, so check those alongside the price.

Looking after the KNX15

Remove the lock before riding, and follow the supplied instructions when replacing the battery. A separate reminder cable can help you remember to unlock the disc. The 120dB figure is the alarm output stated by KOVIX.
